Spanish

Spanish

The Spanish curriculum is designed to give the children a working knowledge of the language. The program is designed to be colloquial, interesting and useful. Our Spanish program introduces:

  • Vocabulary through songs
  • Rhymes
  • puppets and movement activities that children love
  • Illustrates concepts with colorful, appealing visuals
  • Emphasizes comprehension activities essential in young children’s learning
  • Develops conversation skills
  • Encourages the practice of Spanish vocabulary through cooperative, interactive situations
  • Integrates culture and classroom materials with language learning

The teacher’s task is first to nourish and assist, to watch, encourage, guide, induce, rather than to interfere, prescribe, or restrict
